Destination choice was considered the most important factor behind the decision to travel to other states and/or countries for obtaining medical treatment. Research has concluded that various pre-purchase and post-purchase factors play important roles in the destination choice decision-making process.
The two main objectives behind writing this book were to study the perceptions of medical travelers regarding various destination choice decision-making factors and the state of Gujarat as a destination for medical tourism and to identify the important factors behind medical service providers moving towards Gujarat.
